outlook 2k kidnapped my pst file!

by vlad dracul . Updated 23 years, 6 months ago

Here’s the situation: I had Outlook 2k configured with a personal folder (pst file) to keep my private info. At one moment I had to erase my hard disk, to install a fresh copy of Windows 2k, so I moved the pst file to a CDR-W. After the installation was complete, and the programs re-installed, I put the pst file back to its original location, and when I asked outlook to read it, it says “Access denied”. Why is this? The file was created with best encryption and a password.

Hope anybody cand shed some light into this.
