Outlook 97 error (minet32.dll)

By mburgess ·
I am running Win 95 and Outlook 97 on a computer with 96 MB of RAM. Recently whenever I open Outlook I get the message: "Mapisp32 caused an invalid page fault in Module Minet32.dll". I have followed Microsoft's suggestions (Q266340), but with no success. Any help would be appreciated.

This sounds like an application has loaded a newer version of some shared dlls. I would first try reinstalling the OS and Outlook97 client. This may show you the culpret as the install program will ask if you want to keep the newer file than the onebeing installed. I would then apply all service packs for each product (they are free) and update the OS and Outlook if it is financially possible for you.
