This is an odd one:
User noticed 2 days ago that he wasn’t getting email and sent email was stuck in outbox. I checked settings which were ok. Reboot computer. Outlook seems fine until I try to force it to check mail, then it locks up the app. ctr-alt-del takes a while to force quit, with “mapisp32” sometimes not responding and also “THorConnWndClass” needing to be end task before shutdown. Makes the whole computer act slow. Now the wierd part. I went to another computer, started a new personal folder and put this persons settings in, and the same thing happened. Put my settings in, and it works normally. Called the mail host and they said it looks fine on their end. Put his settings in on hotmail account to retrieve POP mail, and it works fine. So I’m really stumped. Why would only his settings cause all this hassle. Any ideas anyone. Thanks in advance.
