Out environment uses the .pst file primarily as the main point of delivery for the email client configuration. When some of my users have attempted to access the Personal Store (.pst file) they get a greyed out area where their mail should be. The solution has been to close Outlook and change the file attributes for the file from Read Only (and sometimes Hidden too). Then reopen Outlook and the file can be read. Why are the attributes to the .pst file being changed? The users are not doing this.
