Outlook 98 question…

by new graduate . Updated 25 years, 6 months ago

…(In outook 98) if someone sends me an email on our network and there is a read receipt on it, is it possible for me to open that email without them knowing it. In other words, despite them tracking the message, is there something I can do on my end to not allow them to see whether the message they sent to me has been opened. I know … this sounds shady, but we’re actually trying to resolve an inter-office issue with regard to this topic. Thanks in advance for your help.
