Outlook Calendar problem using olcal.htm

By sam.browne ·
I have a client running win2k and Office 2k.
There was a problem with the users' profile so I removed it and recreated it. Now when I try to access the outlook view to the team calendar I get the following error message:
"Sorry you need the outlook view Axtive-X control installed on your machine".
(yes it is spelled Axtive-x)

I have re-installed office and applied Office 2K SP1 but to no avail.

It should not be an Office problem as at first nothing had changed apart from the profile. I have installed IE5.5 SP1 also.

Has anyone seen this before???

Help please

I can onley give you some suggestions:

The sollution: reinstall windows. Something in the register or some dll's is/are corrupted.

Maybe ''SFC'' will solve the problem. But it's no guarantee.

(You can start SFC by type it in the run dialog)
