Outlook cannot log on.

I installed Win2k Sp1 on my workstation, rebooted and it blue-screened, even safe mode blue-screened. Re-ran Win2k setup and everything was ok except for Office 2000. Re-installed Office 2000, and Outlook could not connect to the exchange server w/ Msg: Check to make sure you are connected to the network…the MS Exchange Address book was unable to log on to the MS Exchange Server. I installed Office XP hoping it would remove the problem, and I still have the same problem. What am I missing?

two things to try.

1. Modify the services in the outlook profile by removing the Microsoft Exchange Server and then adding it back in.

2. (more drastic) Blitz the outlook profile and rebuild it.

Sometimes Outlook loses its ‘link’ with the server and only redoing the service or profile will kick it back in gear.
