I am trying to fix this problem on the president of my company’s computer. He has Outlook 2000 installed on a laptop on a docking station which is running Windows 2000. He can recieve email and he can send email, but it seems that he has intermitten problems doing both. Sometimes it says that it could not connect to the server and other times it says “Unauthorized relay traffic prohibited” and under that it says “Service Unavailable”
Any idea why this is happening? Its not happening to anyone else on the network. We all are on the same server, and the email is being hosted by the same company. Nothing is different, yet he is getting these error messages, and pissed more and more as time goes on. 🙂 Someone help!
