Outlook contacts subfolders not there

By techless ·
Using Outlook 98, when I go to send an email, the subfolders in the drop down do not show. I can chose a contact who is in the contacts folder, but I can not see or pick from the other subfolders. I can see them in the folder list.
Please help me!

In the folder list, right-click one of the sub-folders, select Properties.
Select the Outlook Address Book tab
Click "Show this folder as an e-mail address book" then click OK.
Repeat for each sub-folder.

(This works on Outlook 97 and 2000. I no longer have a copy of 98 loaded to test on.)

Good luck.

That was all it takes ... thanks so much. I'm glad it was something so simple.
