Outlook corrupting attachments

by nocahoma . Updated 25 years, 5 months ago

I have been encountering a rather unusual problem wit Outlook 2000. I have noticed that often times, when I send an attachment, say “resume.doc”, it is sent just fine. However, when it is recieved by the recipient, it has been changed, and is now “winmail.dat”. This file is obviously not readable, and is not even the same filename. Outlook has done this on several instances, with several different files. Anyone know what could be the cause of this?
