Outlook : Data Info address book/list

When I go to my outlook icon on the desktop and click properties it comes up with mail/data set up not the usual Shortcut and General tabs. It seems as though my .pst files are not loaded under Outlook. I cannot find any of my data input, i.e. contacts-phone directory etc.
HELP!!!!! 7 months worth of input gone!!!

I wouldn't worry to much about losing the PST's and Addressbook , that can be recovered, you may have to reinstall office or at least Outlook.

Run a search for your PST's and for the OAB..
You should come up with a result..

Not sure which version of outlook you are running.
Make sure the contacts and personal folder service are still installed.
Go to the properties in the mail icon in the control panel and go to the services tab. If they are not listed you can add both and you should be able to load your address book and personal file back in outlook.

First of all, When you right click on Outlook icon on the dektop, you will not the general properties that you find when you right click any other icon.

If you want to recover your PSTs. Do a search for *.pst. Once you have got the pst. Right Click the Outlook Icon on the dekstop and you can add your PSt file there.
