Outlook does not update – Exchange issue or other bug?

    User issue:
When he is offline (PC shut down) any mail sent during that time is not replicated / synchronized to his local outlook.
The mails are visible on his blackberry, and when logging in to webmail, the ‘missing’ mails are there.

I have tried re installing office 2007, redone the user profile, but still – outlook does not update 🙁

User is on fully patched Windows XP with office 2007, and connected with Exchange 2010

Are you asking that while this system is shut down and an e mail sent it doesn’t show as arriving or that after they have accessed Exchange on a Portable Device the computer doesn’t show the new E Mail?

If it’s the latter you need to set the portable devices to leave a copy on the Server to get the computer to get these mails. 😉

Portable devices are set up that way – if one accesses the webmail (OWA) all mails are there – unless deleted by user.

I`m thinking about not going to waste more time – but force the user to upgrade (reinstall) Office.
