Outlook email setup with company pop3

One of my clients is using dialup through MSN.
My client would like to access his company email through Outlook so he can work from home.

Right now he can access his company email via their website. How do you set it up for Outlook.

What info do I need from his companies server i.e: incoming/outgoing server?
pop3? smtp?

just goto accounts in outlook.Key in your email. Set the pop3 and smtp account (ex., In the username field, key in your username (me/ password.

I would advise you set this user up using IMAP, instead of POP3. You will need the Email server full address (IP Address or fully qualify Name) in some instances the name might follow by an assigned port number (like, or And then process as follows, open MS outlook, or Outlook Express, click on Tools, and then select Account, and then the Mail tag, follow by clicking add mail. There, put in the User display name( John T. brown), click Next, then the user E-address( ), next incoming should be set to IMAP in this case allowing the user to have his mails both at work and at home( as well, you will have to reset the user client mail server at work to IMAP. After the above, you will now have to put in the E-mail Server address (like or Some E-mail Server uses the same address for both Incoming mail, and outgoing mail depending on the server configuration. In this case, reference the address used to access his mail via the web interface.
