After upgrading a Windows 98 SE machine to Windows 2000 Pro and rebooting I have experienced a problem with Outlook 2000 in which I am able to open the Outlook application but as soon as it opens, an error windows pops up with the following message:
“The procedure entry point StrTokEx could not be located in the dynamic link library MSOERT2.dll”
From this point I am not able to do anything at all and I have to close the error pop up to be able to access to some of the information in outlookbut it does not let me perform any of the normal actions in the application.
I have tried scanpst.exe, uninstalling the application and reinstalling and still get the same problem. I went ahead and open outlook with a cleanpst and still had the same message.
I wonder what entry in the registry I will have to twick to make it work?
Please I need help to resolve this isolated issue.
