Outlook Error

By kmailloux ·
It appears I have an event (appointment)in my Outlook 2000 database which has an end date which is earlier than my start date. (An error pushed in from my PDA I suspect). I am unable to see it on the calander or anywhere else in outlook. I have ran the command line switch to clean up old appointments but every time I start Outlook I get a reminder of the appointment and when I try to dismiss it or open it I am told I can not because of the date conflict.

Go to your calendar folder. Click the View menu. Click Current View. If it is there, select "by Category". You will now have a table view of all events in your calendar, and you should be able to find the entry.

If "by Category" is not there, select Define Views, click New, and create a Table view with whatever sorting and fields you wish to see. As long as Filtering is turned off, you should be able to see all entries.

Good luck.

The event could not be found in the calendar view. I even deleted past events for the entire month this is suppose to have taken place.

Stillatit,
Sorry your answer did work. I didn't notice a second group and found the entry under the holidays ?? go figure. Repost your answer and I'll give you the credit. Thanks a bunch.
