Outlook-Exchange problem

At work we have an Exchange 2000 server. Periodically my boss and the President get this error message when accessing their calendar “Unable to update public free/busy data. Could not complete the operation. One or more parameters are not valid.”

Is this an Exchange problem or Outlook problem? Is there a fix for this?
