Outlook Express

By jeremy ·
Is there any way to set up Outlook Express so that it does not erase messages from your mail server when you download them? I have a computer at home and away at school that I use to check email. It is problematic when I need to access an email at school and it is not there because I recieved it on my home computer. I know I used to be able to do it with Netscape, but I don't see how to do it with Outlook. Thanks.

Open OE, click Tools, Accounts, Properties and the option to keep mail on server should be there..somewhere.

Open your "Client" setting in outlook express, select the mail client that is setup, select properties and then open the last tab. Here you can tell outlook to leave the messages on the server, etc.
