Outlook Express

I have Windows XP Pro and have a problem with Outlook Express.

When i click onto the icon it goes into Outlook Express and starts sending and receiving emails but then it comes out of the program. I have to click onto the icon again it goes back into Outlook Express, but the emails are still arriving when i have come out of the program.

I have run the anti-virus software on my machine nd it did not detect any virus(s)

I have also run a software to check for any spyware and it deleted them.

Does anyone know of any ideas how i can cure this

Hi,at this point if none of the solutions worked from your previous post,then I would uninstall OE through the Add/Remove Programs and use the Microsoft update site to download and re-install.

I know this does not give you any idea what is causing this problem or a fix but it seems that their is a backdoor virus or hacker that has gained access to your machine.

Hi, one idea I have for you to cure ‘it’ is to use Eudora or Netscape Mail. good luck.

before uninstall,tray to stop downloading message.
clik on message, on tool bar :view, stop
may help
that message is not longer on server
i had same problem
