    Outlook Express 5

    Locked

    by jklaws ·

I am currently supporting remote clients in the field. Some of the have recently purchased Calbe; DSL modems to connect faster. They are connection through VPN. Office 2k premium is their package of choice using Outlook 5 express as their defaultmail client.

How do they configure OE5 to connect via their already installed High speed line?

A little more info would be helpfull. OL express 5 is a POP/SMTP client, if your running exchange it will not be able to connect to the exchserver store, although you may set it up to pop and send mail through your exchange server, put in the IP address of your exchange server for the pop and smtp address and fill in the authentication info user id and password.
      Good Luck

The first answer looks good to me. If that doesn’t work, try something else. Hope this helps.
