I have been using outlook Express for over a year on a IBM thinkpad. Everything has always worked fine. All of a sudden when ever I retrieve my new mail and go to delete or move or do anything the program has froze. If I do ctrl alt del and come back in to program everything seems to function fine. Sometimes when I select a email to delete the email shows that it is not deleted. If I exit the program and start program the emails are then in the deleted folder. I have tried backing up and uninstalling and reinstaling Outlook express. Still does the same thing. I have also run the maintence to remove emails compress etc nothing seems to help. Any suggestions?
I have contacted my ISP they say of course go to microsoft download newest version. I say why shouldn’t I be able to stay with what has worked in the past and correct the problem.
