You havn't specified operating system. Assuming win2k,

Click Start, then Settings, and then Control Panel.

Open the Add/Remove Programs control panel.

Select the Add/Remove Windows Component tab.

Untick the Outlook Express check box and click Next.

Click Finish.

Restart your computer

("if any other operating system check window setup tab in add/remove")

Outlook Express does not install as a separate program.

Depending on your version of OE and Windows, you may be able to remove OE by either of the following:

Control Panel;
Add/Remove programs;
Windows Components.
De-select Outlook Express from the list of components.

Or, re-install the version of IE that you are using, and de-select OE when installing.

You may need a remove IE first, and then install IE with Outlook Express NOT selected.

If you cannot remove IE, download IE eradicator from your favorite download site.

Or if none of the above does the job...start up in safe mode, search 'outlook', and delete it, then remove the registry key.
