outlook express 6.0 0x800CCC32

I have 2000 Professional and use Hotmail. When I click my outlook express 6.0 I receive an error message and which I close. The next screen is a sign on screen which I enter my hotmail password. The end of the error message is: 0x800CCC32
What doyou recommend I do to correct this problem?
