What file extension does Outlook Express use? I stored all my data and e-mail on my extra drive but now it does not work since I had to reinstall WinXP Pro, but am trying to get access to it and find my data. Please help!
Thanks,
Dave

Outlook Express files are stored in .DBX compressed files.

There should be 1 .DBX file for each OE folder.

The address book is stored differently.

It is best to export then import the address book.

The default path for the OE files in XPis
C:\Documents and Settings\{user name}\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook Express
