How can you delete an e-mail in Outlook Express with out opening it? Other e-mail programs, I can go into Explore and find the file for each e-mail, but in Outlook Express I have not been able to find that "file" is there a way to delete in the program it self or can you go into Explore and do it?

After you've picked up your email from your server, click (once) on "Inbox". If you are using the default view, you will have a list of message headers in the right hand pane. Just select the message you want to delete, and click on the "Delete" button (the raggedy "X") (or <ctl>-D, or Edit --> Delete, or <del> key,...).
You have not opened the email, yet.
But if you have "Auto Preview" enabled, you have "sort of" opened the email. Caution: some malicious code can now be triggered simply through Auto Preview.
In any case, after deleting an email, it is simply moved to the Deleted Items folder. In the list of email folders (in Outlook Express), right-click on Deleted Items, and select "Empty Deleted Items Folder".
Also, every once in a while: Tools --> Services --> Personal Folders --> Compact Now
