1. my outlook express compacted my folders and deleted all my emails from all my folders and they were saved as *.bak files in recyle bin
2. i used a program called Recuva that was able to retrieve all the *.dbx files of the folders/email and I retrieved all my emails that were stored as *.dbx files
3. I imported them into the outlook express folder that had the new *,dbx folders which didn’t have the emails and they overwrote them
4. when I go over the specific email folder name to see the size–they are large files and all my emails are there
5. however–when i open outlook express, the folders are still there, but the emails are not showing (even though they are showing in the outlook express folder in c drive, etc)
any idea how to fix this without breaking a sweat where the new *.dbx files will allow my emails to show in their corresponding folders in express
