Outlook Express ISP change

By vminc23 ·
This will sound extremely amature those techies out there but that is what I am, in OE6 when you change your ISP, will the address book be disrupted when you remove the other ISP and make the new one your default?

ISP as an incoming e-mail address as apposed to some internal Domain setting that sorts and sends e-mails to the correct Mail Box.

so if you have e-mail addresses of Katrhy@Old ISP that would be affected when you switch ISP's and kill off the OLD ISP Account.

People who send me email and that I have saved in my address book will be affected by my removing the profile even though I have the new one set up in the same user account?

There will only be a problem if the E-Mail is sent to an ISP

And not the Company so if the E-Mail address is tracy@ISP Name whatever then you have a problem but if the incoming and outgoing E-Mail is address to Tracy@company Name whatever there is no problem involved.

So if your e-mail is address as per the first option then you are going to need to change the E-Mail addresses on all of the End Users Mail Boxes and notify all the regular senders of the change in E-Mail address but if like 99% of Exchange Servers which are setup correctly your E-mail is to the Companies Name there will not be an issue.
