Outlook Express messages in the profile

In Windows XP pro Outlook Express stores your email messages under the Local Settings folder in your profile. Unfortunately, if roaming profiles are used, email messages are lost because this folder is not copied to the server-side profile folder when the user logs out. Is there any way around this other than using another email client?
