Outlook express opening time.

I’m having a problem with my wifes outlook express. When I click on the Icon, it takes almost 5 minutes to open up. The stupid AOL IM pops up in seconds (any one know how to get rid of that??). I’ve deleted all the email and compacted the folders and tried to create a second identity. No luck. I run Norton AV, but haven’t made changes there in months.

Any ideas??
