Outlook Express 5.5 gets some kind of error condition and says it can’t read a particular message or a complaint about not enough memory to open message.
Exiting and restarting Outlook Express results in the contents of Inbox.dbx being wiped clean with the only message being the welcome to Outlook Express message like it was a new install.
This also can occur on other folders and that folder gets wiped and Inbox.dbx stays intact.
Memory is not a problem machine has 392MB and half of that isfree at the time these events happen, as well as processor
Has anyone else seen this happen? Any thoughts, suggestions? Thanks.
