Outlook Express Win2K SERVER

by mdmonte In reply to Outlook Express Win2K SER ...

Sounds like SP2 overwrote the customised MSOE.DLL. I have had similar issues years ago with NT4 service packs. A quick and dirty solution could be as follows:

Try installing the DSL Verizon software onto another machine - it does not have to be Win2k server - and copy the customised .dll onto an accessible media - floppy, network share, etc.

Open a command shell and rename the MSOE.DLL on your Win2k server to *.old or whatever. Do not delete it.

Copy the customised .dll into the required directory (I assume c:\program files\outlook express or similar).

Start Outlook Express.

Good Luck.
