Outlook – illegal operation

I’m not sure if I’ve selected the right topic. My question is related to office 97 but office 2000 is the closest I can find.

I was using inbox for email handling, but wanted to change to Outlook 97 to utilize some of it’s features. After I install outlook I couldn’t get it running. It says “this program had performed an illegal operation and will be shut down – outlook caused an invalid page fault in module ” something like that.
I have tried remove and re-install the program but still facing the same problem and error message.

Now I couldn’t find inbox on my PC, must have accidentally remove it. How do I re-install it? Just want to know.
