Outlook - Lotus Notes = winmail.dat
I have a useres in the US using Outlook 2000 (or higher - XP, 2003)on NT based PCs sending attachments to international recipients (same company) using on NT based PCs but have Lotus Notes as an email client. The attachments are being turned into Winmail.dat. I had my domestic users resend the message in plain text, and the recipients are still unable to open the attachments (without using WMDecode). Does anyone know how to resolve this issue? Would zipping be a temporary fix?
