Outlook not downloading emails

By merylee ·
About 2 weeks ago, outlook stop downloading my emails. When I go to webmail, I am still receiving mails. I did not change any setting whatsoever on the outlook. And I am using Outlook connector for the setting up of the emails, and therefore i cannot check the accounts set-up.
I learned that I am able to send emails, sometimes.
I have cleared some of my mails in the webmail also.
Please help.

Actually, if all your contacts and stuff is already imported, you probably don't need it if you usually get email via the Outlook client.

Uninstall and re-install outlook?

My contacts are intact, but I am unable to download my mails, which are my main concern.
So, i am not sure what to uninstall?
Send/receive detailed report says "error in mail" and "server request timed out".
I dont know what this means.

Well, those errors sure help.

Uninstall and re-install the "connector" thing, or just uninstall and manually configure your account.

"Server timeout" says that you aren't getting to the mailserver, so you absolutely have to change the server settings in Outlook, one way or the other.

Since it is supposed to autoconfigure, uninstalling and reinstalling the "connector" should fix the problem.
