Outlook pst file inbox repair tool – HELP!

Hi everyone,

we have a problem with a user using in Outlook 2000 with a >2gb pst file. I see from other posts that the utility scanpst.exe is recommended for corrupt pst files. Is this the same as the “detect and repair” tool found on the help menu bar option?

If not, should I try both or just scanpst.exe?
