Our team had just created another Exchange Server (v5.5) on our network. We have to move everything from the Old exchange Server to the New one. I think we pretty much have that part completed. We created the new server and had it join an existing Organization, just different Sites.
Our mail server is setup to have mail delivered to the user’s local HDD. We are currently in the process of testing/moving mail/users between the servers. Once we have all the mail boxs moved to the new server, I need to configure each user’s system to point to the new exchange server. This can be a very lengthy process. Is there a way to automate this task?
I would like to create a bat file and have it so that when a user logs on, this bat file will run and make the neccessary changes. I just need their outlook to point to the new server.
