Hi,
We have a client whose Outlook 2000 is configured for an Exchange Mailbox. For some reason the Outlook Today hangs when clicking it on the folder list. We have tried creating a new Outlook Profile for his mailbox to no avail. Everytime we click on Outlook Today we get an hourglass, and have to hit “Ctrl + Alt + Delete” and end the task. The user has a Windows 2000 Professional workstation with 733MHz and adequate drive space.
I have also tried creating a profile on another machine (where the default user’s Outlook Today works) for this user’s mailbox and received the same result. However, if I create a new Outlook profile on the original workstation, with no Exchange Server mailbox I can click on Outlook Today.
What are some possible suggestions to correct this? Could the user’s mailbox be corrupt? If so, is there a tool to fix this? Thanks for any assistance.
