Outlook via Remote Shiva

I have about 10 remote users who connect to our main site via dial-up to a Shiva box. Fromthere they either connect to remote desktop or use outlook on their local desktop. There are 3 users who are unable to contact our exchange server via their local desktop. Is there something I’m missing? Any info would be a big help.
