Odd behavior with OWA. I’ve installed it on my main IIS server. Only my web site and the Outlook Web Access Site are located there. I’m running SP6 and SP3 for exchange on IIS and the same SPs on my exchange server too. The odd thing is that OWA works fine on the internal network. Logons are always successful (given the right info). The mailbox is delivered and is fully functional.
In contrast, it is impossible to log on to OWA from the internet through our firewall. Our default web page loads fine though, so port 80 is fine. What happens is the OWA page loads, and logon is prompted, but the username and password are always rejected! Then after 3 logon attempts I get a blank page. This with the same name and password accepted minutes ago when logging on from the internal network. I’ve tried prefacing the logon name with the domain name but that hasn’t helped. I have disabled NT authentication on the site entirely, and web publishing is not the culprit since our web page loads fine.
