Outlook Web Access Exchange Server Logon

    Locked

    by kurt g ·

I have a Windows NT 4.0 box configured to work as a web server offering Outlook Web Access to our Exchange 5.5 server. I would like to allow users to log on to their web mailbox WITHOUT having to preceed their username with domain name (e.g. domain/username). I would simply like to allow them to type their username and password. Also, I have a single domain, single Exchange box setup.

    Thanks,
    Kurt

I’m not sure if I understood it correctly, but the Web Access for Exchange only requires you to know the Ip address (e.g. http://222.132.43.5/exchange) followed by a forward slash. Once on the main page the user enters the alias and then username and password (You’ll have to use the right Alias, username and password).
I can’t find a setting in my exchange for that.
I know it doesn’t resolve it, but I just want to give you my 2 cents.

      Good Luck!
