Outlook webaccess & windows 2000 server

By kamel_a ·
I have 2 domain controllers in my domain and both are running windows 2000 server, EX1(primary)&EX2(additional)and I have exchange server 5.5 on EX1 as my e-mail server.
I am also using outlook web access for romote users to dial in and pick up their e-mails from the exchange server on EX1.
After installing a second EXCHANGE SERVER 5.5 on EX2 and moving some mailboxes(users)
to it,these users can't login to outlook webaccess remotetly and chech their e-mails
What can be the problem??????

Outlook webaccess & windows 2000 server

I would check for the simple things first.

I think you are running this:

EX1 running exchange 1 and owa

EX2 running exchange 2

Since you said you moved the mail boxes from one exchange to the other, EX1 has owa to access the mail boxeson it's exchange server. EX2 does not have owa running to access it

Remember that to access owa on the server you use the EX1 ip address\exchange this gets access to only EX1 exchange server.

So install owa on EX2 and have the user point to EX2 ip address\exchange
