Outlook2000 and winmail.dat files

Outlook2000 and winmail.dat files

Frequently, I send Word Doc Formatted files as attachments using Outlook2000. The recipients complain that they do not receive the attached file and they get a win.dat file which they cannot open. How do I correct this?

  The short answer is send as plain text.
