Outsourcing your web hosting ….

Hi,
My company is currently investigating ousourcing our web hosting. We currently manage our own servers and connection.

Has any of you done this?
Is this really a good idea?

We have a mixed bag of applications that were developed using a variety of technologies… websphere, db2, domino, etc..

Has anyone outsourced “complex” applications?
