OWA F/E user access permission problem

HI..We have setup OWA on a fronend server in a DMZ(exchange 2003 with Server 2003), some users are unable to connect to the server remotely instead of the forms page opening they just get the windows logon dialog box and weather they entre the domain/username or just username they can not get on to the server.

Can any one help, I have setup logon locally permissions for all athenticated users on the owa server but this made no difference.

Try this

Have you tried having them use their e-mail address for the logon, i.e. user@company.com?

Also, if you go into AD and under E-mail Addresses, make sure the Exchange policy has stamped it with an e-mail address. I've ran into problems where the Recipient Policy did not update a user for some reason. This happens especially if you have moved a user from the default 'Users' OU, which I'm sure you have.

HI.. thanks for the response, but all users have been on the exchange for some time and have had no problems, their is nothing wrong with their email addresses that I can see. although they have been moved to a new OU again some time ago.

Some users are fine and they have the same OU
