Recent problem: only users with admin permissions can access their mailbox via OWA; those without admin permissions have their passwords not recognized and thus can't access their mailbox. Single domain, w2k with all SPs, e2k with all SPs and rollups. All users can access their mailboxes via Outlook when logged onto the LAN via any registered workstation. I've used MS KBAs but to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Needless to say, ours sales personnel consider this a crisis. Thanks.

Check the setting in your Exchange for the 'alias' for each user. This is used for logging on to OWA. In OWA, when the yellow screen comes up, the small window is looking for the alias of the user. For user credentials use the users domain username and domain password.
I had a similar issue and this corrected my problem.
The problem was actually deeper: several directories in Exchange needed Authenticated Users group added in the Security tab for the problem to be corrected. MS was kind enough (for $245.00US) to walk me through the process and provide me with the KBA (#327843) that addresses this issue. Locking down IIS caused this problem.
If you're asking for technical help, please be sure to include all your system info, including operating system, model number, and any other specifics related to the problem.
