If you checked out that link I posted you'll see "<i>Certain features, new in Outlook 2007, cannot be utilized without Exchange Server 2007.</i>" What 'features' those are, I really don't know. It still looks like a compatability issue, or maybe some little change in procedure, with OL '07. (I've heard a lot of complaints with the "latest, greatest" OL from MS.) -d

The rpoblem is actually with OWA not outlook

by chie4live In reply to might be a problem...

Thanks, i got the link. but the problem is with OWA not with outlook. OL works fine within the domain, even the OWA works fine within the domain but when accessing from an external domain the problem pops up. here is the OWA link so u can have a feel of what i'm talking of. this link should take u to a MS Outlook webpage after acknowledging the certificate error and continuing to website. but it doesn't take u there. thats my problem.
Thanks once again

True, but, the OWA ties together the Outlook with the Exchange Server through the ISA... which could be why I see this:

"Error Code: 500 Internal Server Error. The certificate chain was issued by an authority that is not trusted. (-2146893019)" Is this what you get also? If so, there's your problem. the "Certificates haven't been installed on the 'new' Outlook OWA yet.

Maybe this link will give you some ideas: [ ] I know it's very general, but maybe there's something in there that 'rings a bell' for you. (or helps a little) -d
