Ownership of events created on other users calendars in outlook

In our office we use an exchange environment to keep track of scheduling and appointments. Users have shared calendars that other users can edit. We have a situation where multiple people are creating new events on the calendar of one user. That user has no way of knowing who created the event unless a note is manually typed in. Is there a way to automatically assign the calendar event to the user who created it?

I have tried creating a custom form. I used the organizer field in a new tab, but that always spits out the name of the calendar owner, not the user who edited it. Any thoughts would be helpful, I have been looking everywhere.
