Page Fault and Blue Screen of Death

I moved across the country and I have been having problems accessing higher end programs including Norton Utilities since my move. The computer will restart itself during any programs requiring higher memory usage. I have recieved an error message stating Page Fault writing to non paging area. I think that this is related to virtual memory but am unable to find any documentation on how to correct the problem.
