I have a customer getting a random page fault error in COMCTL32.dll whenever he invokes the start command or windows explorer. The computer must be restarted and the error might not occurr again for serveral hours of operation, then
will occurr every time he goes to start menu for serveral times and then won’t occurr for several more hours of operation. I have replaced memory modules, reformatted and reloaded Win98SE, verified Power supply voltage. The computer has no programs/apps on it otherthan minimal ones in the OS.
