Page File Error

I recently set up Windows 2000 on my laptop. Today I have started to receive Page File errors, saying my page file doesn’t exist or is too small.

I have changed my page file and rebooted and when I reboot I get the same error and when I check the page file again it is the same as before at 20 mb (it didn’t save my changes). I do have admin rights so I can’t see what the problem is.

I tried to set my page file up to the min 128 (same as my ram) an max at 198.

Any ideas.
