Page timeout loading an ASP page

By munrrob ·
Get the following error when loading an ASP page:

Error Type:
Active Server Pages, ASP 0113 (0x80004005)
The maximum amount of time for a script to execute was exceeded. You can change this limit by specifying a new value for the property Server.ScriptTimeout or by changing the value in the IIS administration tools.
/hfht/asp_pages/DsplayRslts.asp

Doesn't appear to be going into a loop, just times out.

Any suggestions.

Page timeout loading an ASP page

Some of these ASP scripts can get quite large. The person programming it may not have considered that it might run on marginal computers. It may be that the ASP page worked perfectly on a new and powerful computer but a slower one may have problems. It seems that client-side processing has grown faster than the ability to do it. There may be nothing you can do about this kind of programming.
